History of Colleyville, Texas
Named after Dr. Lilburn Howard Colley who established one of the first post offices in the area in 1914, Colleyville has roots dating to 1850s settlers who farmed the rich blackland prairie. The Bidault House, built between 1905-1911, served as a berry farm and vineyard and earned Texas Historic Landmark status in 1980. The city incorporated in 1956 and has deliberately maintained its residential, semi-rural character through careful zoning that preserves large lot sizes, tree coverage, and a low-density lifestyle.

Historic Webb House
The Webb House in Bransford Park was built in 1914 by John Rueben Webb and restored through a community effort to preserve the home as an example of the regional architecture of the early 1900s. The restoration project occurred in 2001. It is owned by the City of Colleyville.
BNSF Caboose 999729
Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway Company Caboose 999729 on display in Bransford Park. Donated by the railway company, refurbished by Gunderson Southwest in Cleburne, Texas, and dedicated in August of 2003.
Bidault House
A 1905-1911 concrete block home with berry farm and vineyard history, designated a Texas Historic Landmark in 1980. One of the oldest standing structures in Northeast Tarrant County.
